This is our newest group of Nebraska marriages. It’s small to begin with, but will grow, so do check back. It’s also good to check other counties for family marriages, because family members may have married in another county for a wide variety of reasons.
Often there is more information on a marriage application & license than is included in our index found here. You can get copies of interesting licenses (with application) from the Saunders county courthouse or from the W. Dale Clark Library in Omaha if you want to do it in person. Or you can mail order copies as outlined below. At the moment, the library holdings only go up through 1901. This may change.
To obtain a copy of a Saunders County, NE, marriage license, choose ONE of the below three methods:
1. Mail a $5 check for each desired certificate and a copy of the indexed line to G.O.G.S., PO Box 4011, Omaha, NE 68104. No limit on number of materials ordered at a time, and can be mixed with material from other counties. Or contact gogsresearch@gmail.com
